“Today, Parra beat Manly 29-20”

NOTE: This is after 2 weeks of me saying we should support Manly (or ANY other team) due to Parramatta’s continuous losses (it’s hard on a 5 and 3 year old when their team never wins!).

How am I going to cope with daylight saving?
I don’t do mornings very well, but tomorrow is daylight saving and I am REALLY dreading it!
The boys have been waking at 6am these past couple of weeks - you know what that means tomorrow don’t you!? Yesiree, it means a 5am wake up!
This is my coping mechanism….it’s now waiting right near the coffee machine for my early morning wake-up.

Eating brownies
Cuddling up to each other and not worrying about time
Making our own fruit and veg juice with whatever we find in the fridge
Playing snap (while Tahlia does some light reading!)

Little red shoes and a giraffe.
This is what happens when I need to wait 15 minutes for photos to be processed at the photo lab up the road! I go to the baby shop next door…
Dangerous.
Seriously though, every girl needs a pair of red shoes - no matter what age!

We love rainbows! A colourful project.
When I saw this on Pinterest [here], I just KNEW the boys would love it. I also had the perfect place to hang it.
Turns out I was right! (A rarity).
We purchased two boxes of 64 Crayola crayons, removed all browns, greys, blacks and white, and then proceeded to pop all the colours in gradient order.

The girl loves pumpkin.
Notice the boy-bib…I dug them out of storage specifically for orange coloured food eating. Saves us ruining all her pretty pink bibs! However, not a speck of pumpkin on this one. I’m sure if it were a pink one, it’d be ruined! Funny girl.

Hayden dreaming.
Hayden woke us last night, insisting a snake was in his room.
So at 2am, I trudged into his room and turned it upside down to proove there was no snake…he (luckily!) went to sleep after 5 minutes, with not much fuss.
I freaked out this morning though, when this was the first news item when I flicked on the TV at breakfast!

Tahlia's 1st cupcake. ever!
Now, I’m not one to give babies sweets or bad food (Cooper actually didn’t even get to eat his 1st birthday cake - I was such a Nazi mum!). I usually make everything from scratch and have the blender going 24/7 (Tahlia actually knows the sound means food now!). Learning 'Sight Words'
I don’t know how many times I heard the phrase ‘sight words’ when Cooper started school. I was a little afraid!
Anyway, turns out it was basically 100 words which Cooper had to learn, and he gets 5-6 new words every two weeks throughout the year. His school uses Magic 100 and so far, he is loving it.

Cooper is home sick from school today…it’s his first day off school and he seems a little too excited about it!
Afer I rang his school, he told me that he’d like to watch 3 DVDs (listed titles), build LEGO and eat some cupcakes outside in the cubby with Tahlia and me.

Tahlia's Baptism
Today Tahlia was baptised and we’ve never been so proud of our little girl.
She did all the right things…grinning at the priest, cooing at her candle and smiling at the paparazzi. She even looked up at a statue of Jesus at one point and did the most magical smile.
